Warning !!!

Readme before installing Givi sissybar to Suzuki Marauder VZ800

The mounting hardware fits perfect. In fact it fits TOO perfect. I didn't notice this early enough. That costed me two damaged chrome parts in my Marauder. I've heard this happen to another finnish Marauder rider too. I have already warned some other fellows and they were quite happy to have this information.

So, here is short description of the problem (sorry my poor english and poorer pictures (I don't have digital camera yet)):

The mounting hardware includes two parts like these (one to each side):

Check out that corner of mounting part is not touching your crome part. When You have some luggage in your rack that nasty corner will broke the chrome part!!!

So, remove some of that corner (couple of millimeters should be enough) to safe Your Marauder's chrome.
