The Marauder drips with lustrous, show-quality chrome, on the dual exhaust pipes and mufflers, the engine covers, the outer front fork tubes, the rear shocks, the rear fender stays, the chain guard, the footpegs and front footpeg brackets, the rear brake pedal, the flat handlebars, the turnsignals, the rearview mirrors, the bullet halogen headlight, the speedometer case, the aircraft-style flip-up fuel filler cap, the frame sidecovers, and even the forged sidestand.
Four color coats and a shiny clear coat give the Marauder's painted fuel tank and fenders a deep, glossy, durable finish. Polished fins accent black cylinder and cylinder head paint. And the die-cast aluminum swingarm pivot cover features buffed and polished highlights and a shiny clear coat. The black rear sprocket contrasts with the aluminum rear wheel.
The Marauder's double-cradle, steel-tube frame delivers excellent torsional rigidity with a low seating position, a low center of gravity, a long, 1645 mm (64.8-inch) wheelbase and 35 degrees of rake. The steel tube swingarm has forged axle carriers. Bolt-on covers reinforce the frame in the swingarm pivot area. Both the frame and the swingarm are painted gloss black.
The Marauder's sleek teardrop tank holds 13 liters of fuel. An easy-to-use, locking, flush-mount aircraft-style flip-up fuel filler can be opened with the same key used for the ignition switch, steering lock and seat lock.
